Hi there,

I was just handed a FileMake Pro file mae in 2.1. Does anyone know how to open it up in FileMake 5.*. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I had this a little while back.

I just dropped it onto the FileMaker Pro 5.5 application icon and it converted automatically for me.

Have you tried this yet.

Do you have a copy of FileMaker Pro 3.

If you do open it with this first and then save a copy in v3 and then convert it.

Version 4 will also work as an intermediate step.

Opps,

I just checked to see what version of FM Pro I have and it's only 5.0v1. But I tryed droping it on anyway and it just says that I need to contact tech support to open this file. Is there a converter I can get?
