Hi,

to do this you will need a plug in. Waves in motion (www.wmotion.com) do one called oazium events.

Also a new one out is ScriptIt by www-comm-unity.net. I like this one as you can not only run a script when you leave a field or at a preset date & time but also you can create your own custom menus within filemaker.

These are fully customisabe (even changing layouts), and you can run a script when you choose an item from the menu.
