I've expanded on the Contacts start solution and added a Projects table.

 

I have attempted to duplicate the List layout for the projects table. However I am having trouble getting the sort list to work properly. I have tried to understand how the original layout was working with the calculation sort and status fields but I feel I am missing something.

 

The project list layout is still being affected by the contacts list layout - probably due to me copying scripts and trying to edit them to my purpose. 

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So after much head bashing against keyboard I found my error.

 

I re-wrote the trigger sort list script and discovered that you have to specify

Sort Records [Restore;No dialog]

line.

 

After doing that and adjusting a sub header table it all worked as hoped.

 

Lesson for a newbie today: when you have no idea what your doing - don't blindly copy scripts. Instead, re-type them in hopes of actually learning how they work and their required specifications.

 

Hopefully this post will help a fellow newbie in the future.
