Newbies deddi1999 Posted November 5, 2014 Newbies Share Posted November 5, 2014 hi, I'm an absolutely beginner with plugins like 360work ( groovy / java )! I need help! I want to do this: in FM13 create a new window, have a top ( head )with some fields and a body with a table. Now, by click ( f.e. the left button of the mouse ) I will get the X- and Y- coordinates of the mouse then calculate with them and built a new window ! ( it's like a popover - a little bit ) Is there a way to get the coordinates when clicking the mouse button on a FM-window ? I need the X/Y -position in a script ? can someone help? ggt667
If you do not need them in the script; just need to know them, Pixie has helped me several times: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apple_Developer_Tools#Pixie
Newbies deddi1999 Posted November 7, 2014 Author Newbies Share Posted November 7, 2014 hi, thanks for your request - unfortunately, it is necessary that the coordinates must be processed in a script! At the moment I know that one can read with Java or groovy mouse coordinates in a window. How this is feasible, nevertheless, in a Filemaker window and how the values are handed over then in script…..?? I'm still seeking an learning
