Newbies adwerk Posted November 20, 2014 Newbies Posted November 20, 2014 Hi I have a filemaker 13 database where I download a text file from a FTP server and places it in the same folder as the database is, I the add some text to it and the upload it back to the FTP server. The strange thing is that to get a path i use "get(filepath)" witch is "file:/XXX HD/Users/User name/...." it works great when downloading the file but when I wan´t to upload it I get an error saying "no such file og directory". After some trying I have figured out the I need to start the Path with "/Users/user name/...." Why is it that it's not the same path? My os is OS X yosemite
evanseeds Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 File paths can be a little confusing in FileMaker since FileMaker uses its own syntax (filemac and filewin) in addition to 'traditional' file paths (/Users/... or C:...) as while as file URIs (file:/...). Could you make sure this issue is still occurring in the newest version of FTPeek (1.66), then either submit a bug report through the plugin preferences dialog or send us your log file that should be ~/Library/Logs/360Plugin Logs/ Thanks!
