Avoiding modification of a related field

Hi

I want to avoid the modication of a related field. I've seen that before eg the Name field can be edited in the "A" db only. The same field can't be edited in the related db.

Don't tell me it is easy as pie, I know it is but I can't figure out on how to do it.

In the related db (or wherever you want to avoid modification of a field) select the field and choose Field Format from the Format menu. Uncheck the box in front of "Allow entry into field."
