Error with SSL - sending emails from FM 13 Pro

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I have a customer who sometimes receives the error "There was an error with SSL" when sending an email or text notification from FM Pro 13 on Windows 7 (it only happens on one specific computer in his office).  I'll add screenshots of the error and the script that is used so that you can see all the details.

I am wondering if this has anything to do with his antivirus software, which is Avast.  The reason I think it's a possibility is because I also use Avast.  All notifications that I send out from all of our customers' databases contain the following at the bottom of the text/email:

"---

This email is free from viruses and malware because avast! Antivirus protection is active.

http://www.avast.com"

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you much!

Charley
