Import Video script

Hi I am using the Import Video Script successfully however the script doesn't return the file path

I need to get the file path for a varity of reasons is there a way to keep the "choose video file" dialogue  but also import the path of the chosen file?

If not are there other ways to do so maybe through Applescript?
