field not showing up the lines in the report

Hi

 

I have lines round some of the fields such as the characters field, but when you go to preview it fails to show any of the lines. I cannot see what is stopping it. I did a test of it on the layout All Units Copy 2

 

Any ideas or help is very very much appreciated.

Go to Layout Setup and uncheck the option “Delineate fields on current record only”.
