Opening A PDF in a container

I am using FM Starter and have saved some PDF files in the Products containers. But when I try to open the files using the "Open" button I get an error that the file cannot be opened. IT thinks the PDF file is a png file. See attached screen shot. However if I right click on the container and click export I can open the file.

 

IT seems other types of files I can open from the container but it seems to have a problem with PDF???

Hi C Johnson,

 

We have a known issue if you try to open a file which is a ZIP.   This is just a limitation with what you are trying to do.  In a future release... we are just go to have FMSP dump the zip on your desktop.

 

I would just for giggles restart the computer.... and to back track on finding the issues.

 

We use the feature every day.  So something is wrong on your setup.
