Training files 'not modifiable'

I purchased the FTS 13 Advanced training manual with corresponding Exercise files. However, the are not modifiable. What do I do wrong?

Probably a permissions thing.  Make sure in Finder with Get Info that you are the owner.

Life can be so simple. Thanks, Wim. I copied the files manually to another location and then was able to amend the permissions. It works now. Your advice is much appreciated.
