I have this as a calculation (Today)- End Date to determine the age of an invoice. It doesn't always want to update properly. I often have to go into define fields double click on that field and okay my way back out and then it updates.

Ideas?

Hi.

I have the same problem. We are running fm 5.5 on lan and the calculation fields that uses today function works on some computers and others not. It does not work either when I use Status(CurrentDate).

We are using win NT4.0 and win2000Sp2.

This started when we updated to fm 5.5.

Any ideas to work around this?

Only a manual refresh or reopening the DB with work with Today. Luckily there is a simple fix. Change the formula to use Status(Current Date) and the problem will go away.

I had been using something like that and had issues so i had changed it to today. I put it in as you have it and i'll let you know how it works.

Even when using Status(CurrentDate), your calculation won't automatically update unless you have the storage option set to "do not store."
