Just FYI, when duplicating multiple layouts, where the portal is based on different relationship, somehow it's not enouph to just double-click on the portal to change the relationship. You have to physically re-draw the portal, then specify the relationship that this portal is based on.

At least I had to do it for my solution. My guess is that's the bug in fundamental programming of the object-oriented side of the FM. If anyone has any clues out there, please enlighten me.

Sounds like it might be a bug, or it might be something you're doing. I work on various systems, my own and my clients', and have not experienced the problem you describe.

I was wrong, The field in the portal was not based on exactly the same relation as the portal itself. I forgot about that, and when I redrew the portal I realized the mistake.
