Hi,

I am brand new to Filemaker community, I am using Filemaker Pro 14 Advanced and was wondering if someone could give some advice on using the Troi Serial Plug-in; my application is connecting the Troi via a serial  port using a "Tripp-Lite Keyspan Model USA-19HS" Serial Adapter connected to a machine that periodically outputs a CSV data stream that I would like to capture and insert into Filemaker Field.  Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you are having problems, I suggest you open the Terminal.fmp12 file that comes with the Troi Serial Plug-in. You can talk to your serial device there without doing any programming, to make sure the problem is not relating to hardware or serial drivers.
