Value List only show Active Staff

Featured Replies

HI,

I don't know if I've done something wrong, but the attached is a copy of the relationship for staff table. The global field is set on login to Active and that status of the teacher is set to either active or Leaver.

When I then create a value list on the Staff table, it is also showing the leavers which I dont' want to happen.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

TIA.

Why do you expect the value list to show only active staff members when it is defined to “Include all values"?

Try checking the option “Include only related values”; for “starting from” select the scdb_ACTIVE TO.

sorry I did do this but then when I put a drop down / pop up on a layout to get it to look at that value list its coming back with an unrelated table error.

I just realised my layout as based on the wrong TO. DOh.

Thank you though. :)
