I want to be able to set folders on FileMaker server that will appear visually when the user goes to select a solution to view on WebDirect and Go. Is this possible? That way we can group files together and have a folder for solutions we're still testing.

No, not possible.  You can however make your own web page and group things together and provide links to the right files.

How would that work with FIleMaker Go?

same as for webdirect except that the url/link would use the fmp:// protocol:
