Please help,

We had upgraded SQL 2008 R2 to SQL 2014.

Our FM 13 application use to connect to SQL 2008 r3 with an ODBC connection without any problems.

Now I found it very difficult to connect to SQL 2014 as it could not see the DSN at all.

I did try the same with FM14 and this seems to work fine.

Is there a way of connecting FM13 to SQL 2014 before we upgrade to FM 14?

13 and 14 are not certified to work with SQL Server 2014:

So you may be putting yourself in troubled waters a bit...

 

As to not seeing the DSN: is it in the 64-bit ODBC control panel under System DSNs?

 

Hi Wim, What I meant is the old ODBC connector could not see SQL 14.

I got it to work, I had to download a new ODBC for sql 11 connector, and it seems to work great.
