February 11, 20169 yr Please help, We had upgraded SQL 2008 R2 to SQL 2014. Our FM 13 application use to connect to SQL 2008 r3 with an ODBC connection without any problems. Now I found it very difficult to connect to SQL 2014 as it could not see the DSN at all. I did try the same with FM14 and this seems to work fine. Is there a way of connecting FM13 to SQL 2014 before we upgrade to FM 14? Thankk you very much in advance. Edited February 11, 20169 yr by Lamine
February 11, 20169 yr 13 and 14 are not certified to work with SQL Server 2014: http://help.filemaker.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/6420 So you may be putting yourself in troubled waters a bit... As to not seeing the DSN: is it in the 64-bit ODBC control panel under System DSNs?
June 15, 20169 yr Author Hi Wim, What I meant is the old ODBC connector could not see SQL 14. I got it to work, I had to download a new ODBC for sql 11 connector, and it seems to work great. Thank you
