Hi

do have some Files in Fmaker2 format and they are not relational, want to use them know in Fm5, which would be the best approach to do that; if I just open the files in FM5, some funktions don't work correct anymore.

Mostly everything should work, just open the files with FM 5 and they will be backed up and converted.
