Hi,

Being a newbie to this forum, i'm not sure if this has already been covered......

We have Filemaker 5.5 server running on a G4 with OS 9.2.2, with a newtork of macs running filemaker 5.5 or 5 connecting to it. We also have a few PC's (varying from win 95 - win XP), the only problem we have is when Windows 98 running filemaker 5.5 (there is no problem with version 5) tries to connect to the hosts, it keeps getting thrown off.

Is there any known problems with Win 98 / Filemaker 5.5 / Filemaker server 5.5??

Nothing that I know of. I suppose that it is possible that there is some corrupt system file on this machine. Is it just one Win98/FMP5.5 system that is having problems? I would start with a fresh install of both Win98 and Filemaker 5.5, otherwise just go back to Filemaker 5 on that machine.
