Lori
I am working with an existing database file and I am getting reacquainted with filemaker pro after being out of it for the 10 years. I cannot remember and have tried to figure out what the following field? indicates. I know it is from the projects file and it appears like this in a separate file. When I right click on it the specify field is not in the menu. Is this a button, an object. I can't move forward until I know how to use this. Any help will be greatly appreciated. <<Projects::Project Number>>
Lee Smith
This is a Merge Field from a related Table called Projects. If it was a field in your current Table, it would not have the Project:: in from of Project Number.
Lori
Thank you Lee. Now I can research merge fields. I am adding a meetings file to an existing group of files: Projects, Contract Admin, Communications, Contacts. :-)
