I have found similar posts, but not quite what I am experiencing.

I can start a clean copy of FileMaker, install the scriptmaster plugin (via the install plug-in script step), and everything works beautifully for that session.

However, when I close FileMaker and re-open it, it crashes -- every time.  The error is:

Problem signature:

This is using Windows 2012R2, FMPA14.0.1 (32-bit), and Java 1.8.0_91-b15 (also 32-bit).  FMS is also running on this system (with the appropriate 64-bit Java) if that matters.

If I delete the ScriptMaster plugin, I can start FileMaker, re-install the plugin and once again everything is fine for that session.

I have uninstalled everything, deleted directories and re-installed to no avail.  I have similar systems on which this works perfectly.  Any ideas?

Hi domiller,

There is a registry record that gets created by FileMaker14 that can cause a crash to happen. Click on the Windows button and in the search type "regedit" and then launch the regedit.exe file. Navigate to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/FileMaker/FileMaker Pro/14.0A/PlugIns . There is probably a record that is called "disabled" listed there. Delete that record and start FileMaker and see if the crash no longer happens.
