I used FMP Developer 5 to bind a solution on both a PC and a Mac. I then copied these two applications to a CD ROM, for distribution. The Mac version works perfectly, however the Windows version gives me a message about the solution being a "read only" file. I tried copying the solution to the CD on both a Mac and a Windows machine... same results.

I'm designing an application that will be distributed to peole with different screen resolutions. I created a calc field with status(currentScreenHeight). I then created another calc field, using "IF", that returns a "0" value if height is 480 and a "1" value if height is not 480. Now I need to have a script that takes me to the form that I set up for 640x480 resolution when the calc field has a value of "1" and takes me to another form if the value is "0". Well... this is where I'm stuck. Any suggestions?

I'm sending a company a demo of a FMP5 database in Developer 5 format. I want to limit them to only inputting 25 records for this demo version. Any suggestions on how to put this limit into the file I'm sending to them? Thanks

Any suggestions on how to format a field so that the spaces and dashes are automatically entered? i.e. (800) 123-4567
