We have a problem with a corrupt FP3 file, which was apparently closed wrong. When we try to open the file, we get the following error message: "Access privileges have been damaged or tampered with."
When we move the file to a Mac (Filemaker Pro 5), we can convert and open the file, but it only has one blank record (and is about 1/100 the size of the original).
Is there any manual way to break into one of these things? We can write programs, run Crystal Reports, pay a consultant, whatever it takes. We are going to send the file to Filemaker, but the estimated turnaround is 4-6 weeks and it's not guaranteed.
Thanks for any help.
