Hi mindtpi99 This applescript could be good for me, I am talking low volumes here....platform is OSX Server (Jaguar) running FM Unlimited 6.0XX - my CWP skills are zero.

Ideally I am setting up in IWP and when a web user hits submit after entering their data, then I want the email script to occur.

I would like to create a script that emails a certain user all the record data every time a record is created - how can I do this?

I have a db of employees they have a location field in their record (this is a value list of different locations) - how would I make a value list automatically of employees who are at "location x"

Hi All, Can somebody tell me how to restrict users to be only able to delete one record at a time, I have gone into the "Passwords" privileges selected the user and gone to the Limited delete records option, but don't know what to put in the calculations field. Is this the right area to do this and if so what is the formula. Many Thanks

a value list presented as a checkbox through IWP has either a value or not "Are you trying to force IWP to use the checkbox in a manner in which it is not intended?" I don't understand what you are saying

The fields are taken verbatim with IWP so they can't be misspelled, I have all my fields on the layout when submitting. When I take the layout and fields including the layout and put it on a separate db via IWP it works?? Why can't the value list work with my original db - simple checkbox list that requires a chack or not!

I have a IWP enabled site which works perfectly apart from a value list - when the value list is edited through a browser ie checked and submitted - a dialog box comes up "Data Entry Error - Your Attempt to save changes to the following record failed because of - Unknown Error 102" The value list is assigned to a field with allow enrty into field enabled - and no validation is required for the field. Any Ideas

inserting a pdf into a container and viewing through the web - generates a higher kb size of the jpeg preview then the pdf itself - how do I make the jpeg smaller. users need to see a thumbnail of the pdf prior to dowloading the actual pdf - I only really want to deal with one image format and it needs to be pdf.

was using Safari before - didn't work with attachments Archive.zip

Changed format to pop-up menu - record still stays in list if value changed to "Yes"

Queue Thanks for your response, - my field is actually called "Completion" and is defined as a pop up value list with the values already mentioned. When I attach the script to the "Completion" field and change the value to "Yes" - the record still remains in list view! What am I doing wrong? Script is: Go to Field [ Completion ] Pause/Resume Script [

Can anyone point in me in the right direction - I have a task.fp5 db - in a defined field "status" a value list of "Yes", "No", "In Progress" is linked to it - when "Yes" is selected for the record I want to instantly omit the record from the list view How do I go about this
