I have a file showing work lists per part with a self joining relationship that shows all open work lists for the same part. It works great, but the portal shows also the record itself. Is there a way to show only the related records buy not the one we are in?

Thank you Tom, but the problem is that Apple scripts don't work on Windows. The man is walking on the moon, but FM can't print PDF's on multi platform. Sniff!!!!

I observe the following at printing a layout in OSX/FM6 Two scripts have been made, which print both the layout. Script 1 contains the page setup option of the active printer. Script 2 has that to, but here at printing it has been indicated that he must save as PDF. Irrespective of these setup, the printer will print the last chosen setup. Conclusion: FM6 doesn't store the output option. Please don't tell me there is no solution!

Hello Kenneth, Thank you for answering..and..yes everything is allright and up to date. The problem seems to be in the openfile. I've wrote that in FM 5.0 on MacOS 9. Sins I wrote a totaly new file it works. But I wonder why! All other files where also written on my old system are working out of the blue. Any idea?

I'm working with FileMaker 5.5 and OSX 10.1.4 and evry times I want to startup FM he stops with an "unexpectedly quit" and I have to try several times to make it work. I've trashed mij filemaker.plist but it didn't help. All mij collegues have the same problem, but one, the boss, he is working with MacOS 9. Pleas help me, this problem is driving me crazy.

I have a file with day names and I want to force them in a specific portal row in the related file. Monday on row 1, thuesday on 2 etc.... If monday doesn't exist I want the portalrow to be empty. Any tips ?
