Can't find the properties for the START located on the desk top as stated above. I would like to see the layout list in a column. I have to many layouts I can't see the ones that go off the page.

So what is normal? column or across the screen? Most of the OS I use are WIN98? Yes the scroll on my mouse is not working on some of the PC's I use. So where is this START scroll option.

Version 4.1v3 Status area Layout List. I work on several PC's all with FMP version 4.1v3. While in Layout mode With that Status area displayed the top button will list all the layouts I am using. Problem on some of the PC's the Layout list is in a column and on the other Pc's the list of layouts is accross the screen. Question: How do I change the setup option so that I see the layout list in a column as I have so many layouts that when they are displayed across the screen I can't see the layout name of the layout I want to select.

Using FMP4.1 I am working on a track and field Db. I need to create 6 heats each heat has to have 6 randonly selected particapants from a age group such as Juniors. Eg: Junior boys heat 1 --------- heat 2 Name 1 Lane 1 --------- Name 1 Lane 1 Name 2 Lane 2 --------- Name 2 Lane 2 Name 3 Lane 3 --------- Name 3 Lane 3 Name 4 Lane 4 --------- Name 4 Lane 4 Name 5 Lane 5 --------- Name 5 Lane 5 Name 6 Lane 6 --------- Name 6 Lane 6 Heat 3 same as heat 1 Heat 4 same as heat 2 6 heats on the same page Any suggestions? I can do a find for the Junior girls that is ok but on my layout the same name is displayed for every lane. or there is no count for the lane or there is no space between the heats depending on how I try to create it. Newbe

I am realy new at this. I am having troubles finding the way to turn "related values only" on. Do I look in DB"A" or DB"B" or in the relationship between the two.

OK now I have all the codes in one field but how do I find and retrive the corressponding files from the other db (db"B") and get them into db "A". Ya I am realy new at this.

using FMP 4.1 I need a script that will allow me to change to another db and to a specific layout in that db in browse mode. Version: v4.x Platform: Windows 95/98

Using FMP4.1 How do I make this happen? I created two fmp DB's. db"A" contains forms/layouts called comments. db"B" contains the comments. When in a field in db"A" I want to type in many codes that represent the comments in db "B" example: I would type in A03 A44 C24 up to 60 of these codes. I would click a button that would replace the above codes (that are all in one field) with their related comments from db"B". Can someone point me in the right direction?
