Yes, this includes wrapping text lines. IT really needs to print this way. it a police report that has to go to court.

I'm taking on a client the has been using MS Word.Obviously with word you can auto number lines. In their reports that go to another agency they are required to have a text narrative where each line in numbered. i.e. 1. something here is writen 2. by the user and it could go 3. on for several pages. how can this be accomplished ?

Ever since we updated to filemaker 15 the current user name, which always grabbed the username of the person logged into the computer, now just grabs the company name that the filemaker installed with. SO if I got to edit preferences the name Company (which is the organization name from the install ) Is in there. We are using active directory for security so the users do not put a password into filemaker. This is only happening on FM 15 computers and we are using the latest patches. Any help would be appreciated as this is obviously causing major issues in our system right now. thanks

think we are almost there. I submitted something this morning. I changed the configuration and the sync starts to work but I get an error and it aborts because of a created date error (i submitted it) and the download link the system generates still has the internal address.

I went through the process but I cant sync. I am trying to set up the program and when I click choose database I get an error saying "Couold not get names for filemaker server. XML web publishing not enabled." I have it enabled on my server...not sure what to do.

Can oracle and FMS 8 be run on the same server without and issues?

The proplem we are having is occuring using FileMaker 8 and Server 8 with windows xp, and windows2000 server (same problem in 2003 server) I will be in a database and FM will quit. When I go to open it back up it says Maximum Number of users are using this copy of FileMaker. I need to stop and start service to make it work again. Any ideas?

I want to schedule my FM server 8 to backup to another computer over the network. Everytime I put in the network path it won't validate. I have tried making a mapped drive and thatr didn't work. Any suggetions?

We need to have FileMaker server installed on the c drive of our server and the databases located on the d drive. We have done this many times by simply putting a short cut to the database folder in the server folder. It has worked for years. Now the problem is is doesn't seem to work with server 8 Any suggestions.

Here is a cool tool if you don't have the time to learn odbc. http://www.sqlmanager.net/en/products/mssql/dataexport/buy I used it on a project where we had to convert asql database to our filemaker one. I just exported the data into excell then converted it to filemaker. Pretty simple. It is a very inexpencive tool.

Thanks. I set it up on a laptop. I can see the remote files when I open up FM7 on the laptop but I can't see them from any other computer. Anny suggestions.

I was wondering if I could install server 7 on an xp laptop and used it as a server for testing purposes.
