I was working on a FileMaker form a while back, and I've just started up on it again. When I go to the layout view, I don't have a background image (of the scanned form) to help me get everything lined up. Yet when I go to the Browse view, I see the graphic. I've selected "Do Not Print" from the menu, and selected view non-printing items from the menu, but I still don't see the background image. Do you guys have any suggestions? It was working before, and I've tried inserting a new graphic to a new field and choosing don't print. It shows up on top of all the other things I'm working on, and it won't go away, even after unchecking the show non-printing objects menu. I'm sure it's something simple that I'm not doing, but I'm not sure what.
Another question... on this form I have multiple check boxes (Sex: M or F for example), so how would I insert the check boxes and their locations for placement on the form (using a pre-printed form)?
And is there a way if I type in a certain word or number in a certain field that some other fields would fill in automatically?
Thanks.
