I have pulled a list of icons from a CAD drawing. This list represents the total number of telephony devices from a floor plan and includes subsequent information answered at insertion time, such as label name, location and etc. The block type of each icon is set up by the CAD program and is labeled with the rest of the information, based on the block type. My goal is to export this list into FM7, display all information for each block type, count the number of one block type, sort by location for all block types and manipulate and sort it by the rest of the information. Simple terms - database=fred. Field1=device, imported information into device field=lan,voice, cpu, printer. Field2=location.
I want a total number of lan unit for the whole floor and a list of all devices within a location.
