I have installed the version 3 upgrade. Prior to the upgrade to version 3, in Filemaker 7 I had option to, when paste text in browse mode, to keep the text formatted as the layout was designed (ie: would not carry the font and formatting of where I was copying from, into the record, rather it would keep the formatting as you set it in the layout). Now it has reverted back to keeping the formatting of the where I copied from and I can not fnd option to make it keep layout formatting. - Arggg this is a pain in the butt and was one of the reasons I loved Filemaker 7, because you could achieve this without any scripting. I am thinking of reverting back to 7.0 but if anyone can I help I would like to keep 7v3.

In one table, I want to be able to restrict users from viewing certain fields, unless they are the owner of the records. Specifically, I want each user to be able to view the 'company name' field of every record and search in that field, but only to view and edit ALL OTHER fields if they are owner of the record. This seems to be an all or nothing option in the Privalege Set. Does anyone have any insight to offer? thanks. _ MM

I am having trouble 1. scripting to automatically attach multiple attachments, I see it gives option to select several files, but does not attach all files selected within the scriipt. 2. I would like to create an email script where it grabs the file in a container field and attaches it to the email. Any help most appreciated! [color:"brown"]
