  1. You're right, i found this article about is, so i think it wille be fixed in the next version. http://www.filemaker.com/ti/109262.html
  2. Medmonds, I have the same problem (with more than one printer), i've tried everything to make it work but without luck. I'm using FM Pro 7v3. If i make a scrip very simple like below: Print Setup [Restore] (in the script i choose printer 2) Print [] In this case it should print to printer 2 but it doesn't! I'm really desperated beceause i converted all my applications to 7 and everybody has to choose their printer manually. Regards Arthur
  3. Ok, I can live with that, is there a white paper or description what the differences are?
  4. Hello all, Let's explane the following situation. I've made a database with 2 tables, related to each other with an id. When i create a new record and fill something in the related portal the lookup field works perfect in Filemaker 7 Try withj the same file hosted by Filemaker 7 Server and it wil not work (unless you click next to thwe field. What i discovered is with filemaker 7 Server is that you have to commit the new record first and then the lookup will work, but is this a bug? Let me know if anybody else has this problem too.
  5. Nope, Sorry, I will give some more information. The file is created with Filemaker 7 v3 and hosted on Filemaker server 7 v2 I've made a solution with a script that creates a new record and commits it, but for me it is not right that there's as difference between Pro and Server.
  6. I have Filemaker server 7 v2 and as (Citrix) client Filemaker Pro 7 v3 My filesize also increases and records dissapear! I've called with filemaker and they tay the file is corrupted, recovering won't help. They can recover the database for $100 a table! The worst thing is that the records dissapear and there is no solution available. Rebuilding the database and tables is costing me more than 3 weeks of work, and if it happens the next time, then what? I never had this problem in 5 and 6
  7. Hello, I found something! The record increase after i modified an existing record, so the adding is ok. That's all for now.
  8. 1. it overwrites when i add a record, add record is in a script, but it also happens without a script. 2, It is difficult to check if the records increases when it happens. It happens after the user leaves the record. 01 and 02 are different accounts sometimes on the same Citrix server, sometimes on a different Citrix server. 3. I think the table is corrupt beceause it doesn't happen with a new table. Filemaker called me just a few minutes ago, they say that i could try to save the database as a clone and then import the records from the corrupted database but that is a big job!
  9. Hello, We are using Citrix Metaframe XP with FM client v7.0v3 and FM server 7.0v2 on Windows 2003 standard. I have a big problem, at the moment that more then 1 user is adding record, it overwrites existing records. I tried to catch it with the latest updates, different cache settings, scripts, recovering the file but with no luck. I called to FM support but still no solution. With filemaker 6 in the same situation i never had this problem. Can anybody help me with this? Thanks in Advance. Arthur Poortman
