  1. Any links to the technique? I tried that - still wouldnt open the file. Havent gone to Lion yet on this iMac.
  2. To Clarify, the Setup is: iMac OSX Snow Leopard FMS 10 FMP8 and FMP11 All software on the one and same iMac. Yes - definitely running via the Open Remote option. The only reason it's all on the same box is for the FMS backup options. If FMP allowed backup of files, we wouldnt need server.
  3. I know this has been asked before - but I cant find any solution that works. The problem: FM 11 cant see files on FM10 server hosted on same box. It's an iMac running OSX Snow Leopard that needs to go to Lion. But it has FM8 still running on it. FM8 sees the files fine. The newly installed FM11 does not. I tried uninstalling, setting the clock back and reinstalling as described here I tried copying the server.pem file from the FM8 install. I dont have access to any other working installs of FM to copy a known working file. The filewall is turned off. I checked the permissions on the file are set to fmsadmin R&W What else can I try? A clean install? Update to FM Server 11? Thanks for any help.
