Currently have sync bi directional - but plan to switch it from spoke > hub for one table , if I switch that in the configuration do I need to recopy scripts and have end users re-download a new version?

I'm 90% sure that it's fine to do it without re-pasting or distributing new offline files. Test it with one of the current files to be 100% sure.

No, the JDBC communication is only for MirrorSync communicating with FileMaker Server. For communicating with FileMaker client ( Pro / Go ), we still use the MirrorSync script. Someday, if FileMaker allows us to do INSERT / UPDATE / DELETE via ExecuteSQL, we might be able to have a totally generic MirrorSync script, but that's not here yet.
