Ocean West
Currently have sync bi directional - but plan to switch it from spoke > hub for one table , if I switch that in the configuration do I need to recopy scripts and have end users re-download a new version? Jesse Barnum
I'm 90% sure that it's fine to do it without re-pasting or distributing new offline files. Test it with one of the current files to be 100% sure.
Ocean West
Thanks - I assume once we upgraded to v3 since it will be JDBC such changes would not need new versions?
Jesse Barnum
No, the JDBC communication is only for MirrorSync communicating with FileMaker Server. For communicating with FileMaker client ( Pro / Go ), we still use the MirrorSync script. Someday, if FileMaker allows us to do INSERT / UPDATE / DELETE via ExecuteSQL, we might be able to have a totally generic MirrorSync script, but that's not here yet.
