June 14, 200223 yr I've created a solution that has started to sell. What should I do? Do I need to have it copyrighted, a solid contract, both or something else? What should I expect to pay? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mark
June 14, 200223 yr "I've created a solution that has started to sell. What should I do?" Avoid shares, buy real estate. Get a good accountant. <grin> Decide what your "saleable commodity" is: the solution you've made; or your ability to create other solutions and solve other problems. I fit into the latter category.
June 14, 200223 yr You may want to contact a lawer (about $250.00 per hour), but first I'd go to www.nolopress.com and take advantage of the free information available there and the self-help books. If nothing else, it will make you a smarter buyer of legal services. -bd
June 14, 200223 yr 1. Copyright your solution. 2. Trademark any logos, proper names (like the title of the solution), etc. 3. Assuming you're distributing this as a bound solution, you must include a license agreement (see the Developer Kit's manual for details). 4. Sell as many copies as you can -- and let the money roll in!!!
