fishtech Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 Hi, Is there a recommended procedure for backing up MirrorSync Server installations in case of, say, serious hardware failure? I can see reinstalling and reconfiguring can be done fairly painlessly, but it seems possible data collected on remote clients may become orphaned if the original MirrorSync Server data cannot be recovered. Thanks, ft.
Jesse Barnum Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 You should back up the /Library/360Works/SyncData3_MirrorSyncfolder. The next release of MirrorSync, 3.12, will have a feature to rebuild the sync data if it's lost. This feature will only work with developer managed keys (i.e. UUIDs)
