SCRIBE - merge related records / portal data to Word Table

Featured Replies

Hi

I have searched and read through all the information I can find on Scribe, but I cannot find out if and how it handles related data.

Is it possible to create a table in word document from related portal data?

Previously we have done this using EZXSLT merges to create a table and then used macros to insert these documents into a word document at a given point.

I am really interested to see if this can all be done with Scribe or if it can only do a basic merge.

Thanks

Stephen

Why not create the merge from the related child records?

Thanks Webko

I had not seen an example of Scribe merging multiple lines into the one document.

If merging from the child records, can the found set be used as table rows?

Also the merges are complex where we might have data from several relationships.

I will grab the demo and have a play.

Thanks for the idea.

Stephen
