Can you export field labels from FileMaker?

On import, you have the option to read the the first row as label or data, what about the other direction?

you can, if you export as Merge file format and just change the extension to .csv  

Field names are included when you export in one of these formats:

  • dBase
  • FileMaker Pro
  • HTML table
  • Merge
  • Excel 
  • XML

Additional formats can be created by exporting as XML and using an XSLT stylesheet to transform the output.
