I have a file with 2748 layouts in it.  I just completed the table structure design, with a layout for each table, 2782 tables in total (a few did not need representations in the layout structure).

 

I split out my tables into folders.  When I go to select a table from one of the folders, it does not navigate to it, but does not freeze, nor does it show an error, it simply behaves as if it is on the layout and continues functioning as if nothing had been done.

This File is half ESS tables, half local tables and written in 13.ov3.

 

Anyone have any thoughts on how this might happen and why, seen it even before, and what can be done, I am effectively unable to navigate to my layouts now.

 

You haven't filled out your profile so we don't know what platform you're on. On Windows there's a long-standing bug/irritation that any layout you select from the layout menu beyond 256 will result in you landing on the last layout in the list.

2748 tables, really? That sounds a little fishy.

Another gotcha is naming a folder same as the layout (or script).  A G, can you complete your profile, please?  It helps us when we assist you.  :-)
