April 12, 20187 yr Hi, I just activated the auto-update notification feature in MirrorSync 4. My users are on Macbooks with FM16. 2 users have reported they see the following error: " <thefile.fmp12> could not be created on this disk. Use a different name, make more room on the disk, unlock it or use a different disk" I have not had a chance to remote to anyone to check it out yet, but received these reports via email. They do have plenty of disk space. Please advise. Thanks, ft. Edited April 12, 20187 yr by fishtech
April 17, 20187 yr Author Any news please? How do I disable this feature until there is a fix? Thanks, ft.
April 17, 20187 yr Okay. We are working on a fix for this and I will send you a new build when it is available. Can I get your email address so I can send it to you directly? As long as you do not change the "Database Version" field in the hosted database, the users will not be prompted to download a new file after a sync.
April 19, 20187 yr Author Some of the users are using an earlier download of the database without 'Database Version' field. But they are getting the 'upgrade available' message and then a fail. It's confusing the users. Is there any way just to turn this off on the server? ft. Edited April 19, 20187 yr by fishtech
April 19, 20187 yr If you clear out that field on the hosted database, the users will not get prompted to download a new database version.
