HI,

Sync has been working well for months.

But... an external contractor has done something to modify 800,000+ records.

Unfortunately that change is being pushed to 20-or-so remote clients and causing MirrorSync to collapse under the weight.

I can have the remote users simply download a new copy of the database, but many of them have data to upload first.

Is there any way I can have the server gather the data from the remote clients only without trying to push down the 800K+ records down to them?

Thanks,

ft.

The only thing I can think of is temporarily disabling modification timestamps, finding all the records that you know the contractor modified, and setting the modstamp manually backwards in time prior to when any of your offline users would have synced.
