Java error after upgrade to Win 10

Hello everyone,

I changed my old pc with Win 7 today for a new one running Win 10.
On the old machine I ran FMP 9 (...I know :) ) using also the ScriptMaster Plugin.
Starting FMP on the new machine I receive a Java error message: "360Works plugins require Java 1.5 or later which is not installed on this computer..."
Actually I have Java 1.8 up and running fine on the new PC - someone has a clue what might be going wrong?

I think you need the 32bit version of Java

Thank you John, sounds reasonable as FMP 9 itself is still 32bit.

I'll try that! :)

To second what John said, you need to make sure Java, FileMaker, and the plugin all have the same architecture, i.e. they all need to be 32-bit or 64-bit.
