Newbies Farid Mezaber Posted June 15, 2018 Newbies Posted June 15, 2018 Hello everyone, I changed my old pc with Win 7 today for a new one running Win 10. On the old machine I ran FMP 9 (...I know :) ) using also the ScriptMaster Plugin. Starting FMP on the new machine I receive a Java error message: "360Works plugins require Java 1.5 or later which is not installed on this computer..." Actually I have Java 1.8 up and running fine on the new PC - someone has a clue what might be going wrong? Thanks in advance Farid, Milan/Italy
Newbies Farid Mezaber Posted June 18, 2018 Author Newbies Posted June 18, 2018 Thank you John, sounds reasonable as FMP 9 itself is still 32bit. I'll try that!
ryan360Works Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 To second what John said, you need to make sure Java, FileMaker, and the plugin all have the same architecture, i.e. they all need to be 32-bit or 64-bit.
