Charity Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 Why does Help say this Quote Get(SystemPlatform) returns -2 when the current platform is a Windows platform. Abs(Get(SystemPlatform)) returns 1 when the current platform is macOS. when i try Get ( SystemPlatform ) it returns 1 also so why the Abs()?
comment Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 It's a holdover from a time when there were PowerPC-based Macs and the function would return -1 for those. 1
Charity Posted June 5, 2019 Author Posted June 5, 2019 Thank you Comment. so is it safest to use Abs or have they just not changed help? Is anyone still using PowerPC-based Macs with FM?
