stanley Posted July 22, 2002 Posted July 22, 2002 I'm looking at the scheduler (FM 5.5, OS 8.6) trying to figure out how to get a db to run a script daily, at about midnight. But the "script" option only refers to AppleScript. Is there a way to get a script to run at a particular time without AppleScript? If not, what's the procedure? Thanks Stanley
Kurt Knippel Posted July 22, 2002 Posted July 22, 2002 Run an Applescript which opens a Filemaker file. This file will run a startup script which then runs whatever you need to run in whatever file(s) you need.
kenneth2k1 Posted July 22, 2002 Posted July 22, 2002 I don't know if it is compatible with your OS, but the Troi Activator plug-in might do the trick, too. Ken
