ericire Posted October 30, 2019 Posted October 30, 2019 (edited) Hi where can I download the last scriptmaster plugin compatible with FM10, especially the 4th branch ? Edited October 30, 2019 by ericire
ryan360Works Posted October 30, 2019 Posted October 30, 2019 Hello, I cannot tell you exactly what version(s) of ScriptMaster are compatible with FileMaker 10. Judging from our patch notes, version 4.124 was the last version released in 2011 so it is probably compatible with FM 10. It can be downloaded here. If this version does not work, please let me know and I can get you an older version. Please keep in mind that several bugs have been fixed since this version so we will not be able to provide support if you run into any issues.
ericire Posted October 30, 2019 Author Posted October 30, 2019 thank you, but I have a 4.204 that works with FM10, I would like to try a newer version between 4.2 and 5 and see if it is compatible.
ryan360Works Posted October 30, 2019 Posted October 30, 2019 the last version of ScriptMaster 4 is 4.42 and is available here
ryan360Works Posted October 30, 2019 Posted October 30, 2019 No, 4.42 was the last version of ScriptMaster 4 before we overhauled the plugin framework and released ScriptMaster 5. The version prior to 4.42 was 4.32 . It can be downloaded here.
ericire Posted October 30, 2019 Author Posted October 30, 2019 ok, so the latest compatible version is 4.2 except ... that I just tried with 5.2 and ... it works. strange 🤔 Thanks😄
ryan360Works Posted October 30, 2019 Posted October 30, 2019 Just now, ericire said: except ... that I just tried with 5.2 and ... it works. That is very surprising. Glad you were able to get it to work! Of note, please keep in mind that we do not support our plugins in versions earlier than FM 14 so even though the latest plugin is working for you in FM 10, if you have issue we will not be able to support it.
