there seems to be some duplicate functions between these plugins

Is there any advantage or speed improvements using one over the other? 

 

Hi Ocean,

Yes, there are some overlaps between the two plugins, and there have been discussions on merging the two plugins together, but there are currently not any plans to do so. 

I am not aware of any advantages or speed differences between the two plugins, however, for any scripts you might write I would try to stick to one plugin to avoid loading and saving the documents between two plugins unnecessarily.
