Newbies BOSOX Posted August 1, 2002 Newbies Posted August 1, 2002 We inherited an FMP kiosk application. from a defunct company we bought. The app and its files appear to be locked and/or password protected. We are trying to get inside the application. Need some advise and help here. Are there any FMP 3rd party apps that we can use to open this application up? It was done using FMP5.
IdealData Posted August 1, 2002 Posted August 1, 2002 If there is a copyright screen then you're "goosed" and you must refer to the original developer. If not, then you can approach FM Inc, but it will cost and can take upto 6 weeks. Beware of anyone (other than FM Inc) offering you a password "cracker" as they are inviting you to commit an offence, and I don't think you'll ever get a reply on fmforums again. Good luck
kenneth2k1 Posted August 1, 2002 Posted August 1, 2002 Yes, Mark is right. I'm sure if you get in contact with someone in the defunct company, they can give you the name of the ppl that made the app.
