I'd like to create a recipe app.

One of the main features I need is to be able to present certain fields of recipies in a grid-like way. See image below as an example.

I've been searching for quite some time now, but I cant even find examples of this in Filemaker.

Is this even possible?

2. portal each column starts at record  1 ,4, 7, 10 you would need a way to paginate after 12 or let the last column scroll.

JavaScript is out of my league but I’ll dig into portals. Assuming you mean it’s your 1 OR 2 that could be a solution. 😃

You could use the Photo Gallery Add-on that was just released in FM19.1.2.219.
