Dear Developers,

I'm struggling with an in-house Expense Report solution.  I have a linked portal of LINE_ITEMS, which contains individual expense details.  One of the fields in this related table is a container for receipt storage.  I would like to include a field on the parent layout to add receipt data to the highlighted portal's field.

I've been unsuccessful finding a related solution's implementation.

The simplest solution, I think, would be to place the container field in a popover located in the portal. That way you can view and modify the field's contents while the focus remains in the selected portal row.
