I have plenty of experience with FM (and only FM) in the office networking setting and now I am considering making a database to exchange data via modum with other companies' solutions/programs. The data format for the exchange has been standardized to ANSI ASC X12N. Questions: can filmaker be used to create a solution used in my office but to exchange data over a modum with the above standard? Where can I find out about ANSI ASC X12N - FM interface. Thanks.

Hello,

I recommend looking on the Internet for info on "ANSI ASC X12N". I did a search on Google and found over 600 results. One of these should have info on the standard 'data structures'. You will then need to create FMP export templates to match the 'ANSI ASC X12N' data structure.

Hope this helps!!!
